Since coming to Germany, Mr. Iguchi has had the opportunity and privilege of working with such notable conductors as Ton Koopman, José Maria Moreno, Kevin McCutcheon, and Andreas Kowalewitz. He has also performed with Berliner Symphoniker conducted by Lior Shambadal, Staatsphilharmonie Rheinland-Pfalz conducted by Markus Huber and Sorbisches National-Orchester in an operetta gala tour conducted by Josef Suilen. Mr. Iguchi regularly sings lieder recitals with such pianists as Gerold Huber and Stephan Matthias Lademann.

 

In Japan, Mr. Iguchi has already been fortunate enough to perform in such important halls and festivals such as Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, Aichi Prefectural Art Theater, Hokutopia-Barock-Festival, Orchester-Ensemble-Kanazawa conducted by Kristjan Järvi as well as working with the esteemed conductor, Masaaki Suzuki.

 

Mr. Iguchi holds a Master of Music degree from Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, as well as a Bachelor of Music degree and a Master of Arts degree from Tokyo National University of the Arts.  In addition, he has completed a Bachelor of Musicology and German language/literature at Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg. He also received a scholarship as a member of the Barock Vokal Mainz.

Mr. Iguchi has performed at Teatre Principal de Palma, Berliner Philharmonie, Stiftskirche Stuttgart, Frankfurter Kaiserdom, Nikolaikirche Leipzig, Kloster Seeon, Catedral de Palma, Festival RheinVokal and Festival MúsicaMallorca. In 2017 he was Artist in Residence at the Festival MúsicaMallorca. Since 2017 he has been a guest artist at the Pasinger Fabrik in Munich, where he performed the roles of Dandini in La Cenerentola and Miller in Luisa Miller.

 

Additional operatic roles include; Aeneas in Dido and Aeneas, Don Giovanni in Don Giovanni, Uberto in La serva padrona, Marcello in La Bohème, Belcore in L'elisir d'amore, Buonafede in Il mondo della Luna (Haydn), Tschang-Ling in Der Kreidekreis (Zemlinsky), Tisiphone in Hippolyte et Aricie (Rameau), and Eurimaco in Il ritorno d' Ulisse in patria (Monteverdi).

 

Equally at home on the concert stage, Mr. Iguchi has performed works such as Requiem, c-Moll Messe (Mozart), 9. Symphonie, Missa Solemnis (Beethoven), Matthäus-Passion, Johannes-Passion, h-Moll-Messe, Weihnachtsoratorium, Magnificat, Kantaten (J. S. Bach), Messiah (Händel), Requiem (Fauré), Petitt messe solennelle (Rossini), Die Schöpfung (Haydn) among others.
